Some stories don’t begin with land.
They begin with people.

Ours began in two very different places.

I grew up in the Philippines, where coconut trees stand everywhere — tall, generous, and patient. Coconut trees teach you that life is not rushed. They take years before they give, but once they do, they provide endlessly: food, oil, shelter, care. In my home country, coconut is not just a crop — it is part of daily life, family, and survival.

Gerry grew up in Belgium, where olive oil has always been close — not as a crop, but as a symbol of Mediterranean culture, health, and quality. Olive oil was something respected, chosen carefully, and valued for its purity and tradition.

Two different lands.
Two different trees.
One shared understanding: nature rewards patience.

We met later in life, when we already knew who we were and what truly mattered. Our love grew slowly — built on respect, shared values, and countless conversations about the future we wanted to build. Not a fast one. Not an easy one. But a meaningful one.

As our relationship deepened, so did our shared dream: to live closer to the land, to farm responsibly, and to create something real — something shaped by time, not shortcuts.

Spain became the place where everything aligned.

Here, olive trees grow the same way coconut trees do back home: slowly, quietly, without urgency. Olive trees do not rush. They don’t respond to pressure. They require years of care before they give their first true harvest. And once they do, they can live and produce for generations.

We saw ourselves in that.

Starting an olive farm is not romantic work. It demands patience, discipline, and long-term commitment. You invest years before seeing results. You trust the process when nothing seems to happen yet. You keep caring, even when the reward is still far away.

That journey — the waiting, the trust, the calm persistence — is exactly what gave birth to Olivo Sereno.

Why Olivo Sereno

Olivo represents the olive tree — resilient, generous, deeply rooted in Mediterranean life.
Sereno means calm, peaceful, unhurried.

Olivo Sereno is our way of honoring everything this journey has taught us:

that love grows when you allow it time
that farming teaches humility
that the best things in life are not rushed

Just like the coconut tree and the olive tree, our dream required patience, care, and faith before it could bear fruit.

Today, Olivo Sereno is more than olive oil. It is a reflection of how we choose to live.

From our extra virgin olive oil to our natural soaps for the body, the kitchen, and the home, every product we create is guided by the same philosophy:
calm choices, honest processes, and respect for nature.

We don’t chase speed.
We don’t cut corners.
We allow time to do its work.

Soon, after the harvest season, our olives will finally tell their own story — through oil shaped by the sun, the soil, and the care we’ve given year after year. When you choose Olivo Sereno, you are not just buying a product. You are supporting a family, a farm, and a way of life rooted in patience and intention.

This journey is not just ours anymore.
It becomes yours, too.

And as our family grows — with our children beside us — Olivo Sereno will continue to grow as a promise: to nurture, to care, and to remain calm in a world that rushes too fast.

Olivo Sereno.
Grown with patience. Made with care.
